Hello!

WE ARE THE FOUNDERS OF KIKIBIRDS.

In 2016, I adopted my first parrot and quickly formed a bond unlike anything I had experienced before. I followed everything recommended—she was on a consistent pellet-based diet, had routine vet checkups twice a year, and annual bloodwork that always came back normal. But over time, she began feather plucking. Despite doing everything “right,” it felt like something was missing—not just nutritionally, but in how food supported her natural behaviors.

In 2023, I met Wendi, who created her own diverse blends of seeds, grains, herbs, and fresh ingredients for her parrotlets. As we shared experiences and developed our own recipes, I transitioned my bird from heat-extruded pellets to cold-pressed pellets and incorporated about 30% of our customized blend. About a year later, I noticed something I’ll never forget—her feathers were perfect again. That moment became the foundation of KikiBirds.

Our Values

BIRD-FIRST CARE

Everything starts with the bird. Health, happiness, and daily well-being guide every decision we make.

Natural Nutrition

We use whole, recognizable ingredients—nothing artificial. No dried fruit, no corn, no soy, no peanuts, and no unnecessary fillers.

Behavioral Enrichment

Food should do more than feed. Our blends are designed to encourage natural foraging, exploration, and mental stimulation.

Thoughtful Formulation

Balanced—not extreme. Our mixes are designed to work alongside pellets and fresh foods, supporting a complete and flexible diet.

Our Mission

To help birds live healthier, happier, and more natural lives through thoughtfully crafted nutrition. We believe bird food should reflect how birds naturally eat, support long-term health, encourage natural behaviors, and be something birds genuinely enjoy.
